The Butler’s Brunch that’s really truly good for you

The Butler_Balcony facing outwardsA lazy Sunday morning, coffees, smashed avo, a Bircher muesli, perhaps even a mimosa or two. Sydneysiders love their brunch. We know this. But we also know not all Sydneysiders are so lucky.

B.OKideas supports people, not just from Sydney, who are doing it tough. Sufferers of depression or anxiety, or people just not coping at the moment are supported with a little bit of love and a box of goodies. The B.OKideas boxes are distributed to those in need, to help them work through mindfulness, relaxation and self-care techniques over a 63 day period. The recipient is given an envelope to open every 1-2 weeks, with a new gift, quote and concept to work on.

This Saturday, 28th July, The Butler has partnered with B.OKideas to launch their inaugural B.OK Buddy Breakfast to support people in need.

Autumn B.OK BoxKicking off at 9am, the two hour event includes a light buffet brekky and plenty of fun – we’re talking roaming massages from the 3 minute angels, goodie bags, lucky door prizes, talks by Tim Sharp (Dr Happy) and B.OKideas founder Kietah Martens-Shaw, and the chance to check out the B.OK boxes. You’ll want to make sure you’re in the running for the raffle, with a $500 voucher from The Daily Edited, careers coaching, accommodation and more goodies up for grabs. All proceeds from the raffle, and your $35 ticket cost, are being donated to Waves of Wellness, Australia’s mental health surf therapy charity. Waves of Wellness is B.OKideas’ chosen charity partner, with 10% of sales from B.OKideas boxes going straight to this great program. You’ll also have a chance to buy a box on the day, to pass on to someone you know who might need a helping hand.

Now that is a brunch worth boasting about.
