Skullcandy Rail Earbuds

The Rail collection is all about a few things – design, sound, looks, comfort, and intelligence with Skull-iQ Smart Feature Technology®. We took them for a spin. Firstly they only come in back with transparent sections, along few choices of ear gels to get the perfect fit. They are super comfy, better than my Bose ones (though there is no voice cancelling). Voice controls mean I only need to say ‘Hey Skullcandy…Spotify’ and it immediately goes to my app, plus I can say ‘next/back/stop’ all hands free. The Skull candy app is kicks off with a software upload. Then I complete a sound test (to check my hearing), it gives me control over any presents, taps and swipes. Clear Voice Smart Mic uses artificial intelligence and does a pretty good job at isolating my voice on calls and reducing background noise. The multipoint pairing worked a treat when I was watching Netflix on my ipad and had to quickly jump to my phone to answer it. The sound quality is solid from R&B heavy base, through to symphonic Adajio for Strings. It coped well with most sounds. The only thing missing to give it an all five star rating was no noise cancelling. Great app, so stylish, easy to wear and moderate. It’s a great go to buy in this price range. $169.99 from major retailers

Sunbeam Duos Steam Air Fryer

Sunbeam Air Fryer

We have to confess, this is our first Airfryer. We resisted the hype and then we swiped right and pow! We are in love!! How did we manage life before this gadget? The things that matter are how much bench space it takes up (less than my Kitchen Aid), how fast it cooks (no warm up time), number of functions and ease of clean. It is a powerful 5-in-1 dream – air fry, steam fry, steam, grill and roast. It’s only missing dehydration. The Nutricrisp technology, locks in moisture and nutrients with up to 80% less fat. The 7L capacity handles my 1.5kg chook easily all glossy n’ golden. The eight preset functions are pretty handy for things like like fries, chicken and fish. An integrated steamer basket and removable tray are so easy to clean. One of my favourites is cooking airfry prawn gyozas from Aldi. OMG! so crispy, no oil, nothing sticks together. Chicken drumsticks are a whizz, golden cripsy. Seafood was a winner with a miso salmon bost moist from the steam and charred from the fryer. We are a convert! Sunbeam from $299 and major retailers

Self Care Lovers

Kenzako body products

The AHA BODY RESET is a TikTok sensation. So we took it for a whirl in our shower. It is super silky with liquid shea which acts as a moisturiser and anti-irritant. Citric Acid also helps to exfoliate the upper layer of dead skin cells to help clean pores, even skin tone and soften and smooth the skin. I loved how soft, fluffy it was and so smooth to use, with a nice citrusy aroma. The scrub dials it up! It comes in a 100% recyclable and biodegradable pouch, including the cap. It is a vegan body scrub which is free from micro plastic beads. The pumice worked well to get rid of flaky patches and smooth my skin. We also like that it is eco certified and Australian made. Check out the range hereB
