Seawall Restaurant

Seawall restaurant

In a city that lives by the sea, you can never have too many seafood restaurants. Now there’s a new kid on the Sydney seafood scene and it’s set to bring a bit of bling to business.

Seawall sits looking straight out at Walsh Bay pier so you get a serve of the Harbour along with plenty of people watching.

James Watson’s menu has a lot of local influence with a good dose of Mediterranean fare. With head chef Dion Green at the helm, they’ve got a course set for success.

Moreton Bay bugs sit on a bed of ricotto gnocchi, fresh peas and zucchini flowers, the hirasmasa kingfish tartare is dressed with orange, radish and fennel seed, and a stuffed calamari with chorizo and onion are set to showcase the sea.

If you’d like to shuck the trend, there’s a slow roasted pig and some fresh salads.

Master mixologist Kieran Bailey, who has the UK Bartender of the Year title to his name, has a cocktail to please all taste buds. Try the dry gin British Bramble, a Cuban Mojito Royale with a splash of Prosecco, or the Ferrari, featuring Campari and a hit of raspberry puree.

With plenty of tables and umbrellas out in the sun, this is the spot for sundowners before the night sets in.
