Regatta Rose Bay’s Bottomless Rosé brunch is kicking some serious brunch goals

We’re channelling Monaco right now. French Rosé on the table, a clear blue sky stretching out over the bay, white luxury yachts bobbing in the sunshine, bite sized pastries. It’s 10am, but hey, it’s certainly wine o’clock in the French Rivera right?

We all know Regatta, Rose Bay’s so Frenchy so chic restaurant perched on one of the wharfs to Rose Bay. But what we didn’t know (until now) that the team at Regatta have partnered with the French Rose brand, Les Jamelles, and created a charming 2-hour bottomless Rose Brunch experience that runs until March next year.

Regatta’s Sunday Brunch is on point when it comes to a long catch up with your squad – ten different petite dishes are divided up into a five course affair, so along with a crisp never-ending glass of French Rose, it’s no fuss sophistication. Throw in fine china, beautiful glass ware and high tables looking straight out at the harbour – we’re brunching like the best of them.

We kick things off with savouries – the cutest mini bagels filled with cream cheese, pastrami & pickles, perfectly flaky goats’ cheese and beetroot stuffed croissants and smoked salmon quiche with fresh herbs are followed by spicy (not that spicy) sausage & aged cheddar frittata.

Another top up? Yes please!

Next, baked quail eggs nestled in a deliciously crisp hash brown – breakfast guilty pleasure with a sophisticated twist. We loooved the fresh burst of the peach and burrata salad – with a hefty serving of melt in your mouth burrata with mixed leaf salad, it’s a real standout on the savoury selection.

Refill? Don’t mind if we do. And we move to the sweet stuff.

The classic scones with strawberry jam and cream, petite homemade muffins and glazed banana bread are music to our tastebuds, but it’s the iced cinnamon rolls have us daring each other to ask if there are might be more. Once more glass of beautiful French Rosé as we end the sitting watching small boats dart back and forth between the Rose Bay shore and bigger cruisers moored further out.

This is certainly a special part of the world and from where we were sitting, best enjoyed during the day looking at THAT view.
