Feast on a Seafood Buffet

SheratonHEROIf you’ve ever tried to explain Twitter to a grandparent, you’ll be aware that old age and modernity aren’t usually a match made in heaven.

But that doesn’t mean something you love should be cast by the wayside, whether it’s grandma or something that’s been around even longer – the all-you-can-eat buffet.

Introducing Feast, which is Botanica Brasserie post-makeover and trimmed of a few excess characters. On the surface she’s all sleek private dining booths, alfresco terrace and killer views of Hyde Park, but in essence you’ll detect no cutting, trimming or slimming down.

This is buffet as it survives in your dreams. Mountains of fresh crab, glistening oysters in the half-shell and king prawns grilled to perfection by newly-crowned Executive Chef David Watson. And that’s just the seafood – set yourself a three-plate limit and you’ll thank yourself when you get to the gourmet pizza bar.

And hopefully you’re one of those blessed with a separate stomach for desserts. The buffet is mostly a game of strategy, but genetics aren’t totally irrelevant.

When it’s this good, less is not more.
