Brunch at Wilde and Co Cafe

Don’t you just love those mornings when you wake up feeling refreshed, virtuous (aka we didn’t over indulge the night before) and leap out of bed ready to take on the world after running a marathon? Whilst we’ll never judge you for those days when brunch involves a burger and Bloody Mary, it’s nice to get something fresh, healthy and light post-pilates.

Wilde & Co is the new healthy and ethical ‘go-to’ for your caffeine and green fixes. Simplicity, sustainability and honesty are at the heart of their ethos; which is reflected in their minimal blondewood and white tile design, menu and the warm welcome from their staff.

Whether you are vegan, vegetarian, sugar-free, paleo, keto, raw or just a regular foodie looking for something healthy, every taste is catered for. Once you have had your ethical Browns Mill organic coffee prepared on the La Marzocco machine or Bodhi organic tea, it is time to peruse the menu. You can find the usual healthy treats here like quinoa porridge with poached pears and avocado or eggs with fermented radish on charcoal quinoa bread along with various juices.

Asian mushroom omelette with ethical organic coffee

However, given owner May’s Asian heritage, we encourage you to mix it up with the incredible mushroom omelette with miso and charred leeks or the chicken bowl poached in coconut milk with cauli rice, quinoa and fermented goodies. The Raw Rainbow Salad with avo, carrot, beetroot, zucchini and a moreish pumpkin hummus paired with activated charcoal quinoa toast is outstanding (and we have been secretly trying to make it at home ever since). The Pea Fritters are another standout with green peas, ricotta and feta fritters paired with pickled baby beetroot, coyo, pistachios for extra crunch and a purple kale salad.

If you are looking for a healthy brunch that is as good for you (and the environment) as it tastes, then Wilde & Co is the place to go. We promise you will feel virtuous all day, whether you went there after, before or instead of pilates.
