How Gouda! La Boqueria cheese and charcuterie deliver incredible Foodboxes to your door

La Boqueria

Artisan Spanish Charcuteria La Boqueria have recently introduced their Foodbox delivery option and not to be too cheesy… but were pretty fondue.

Just like its Barcelona namesake, La Boqueria Smallgoods is a collection of produce dedicated to authenticity, prime ingredients and of course, flavour. Unlike the iconic La Rambla institution though, this La Boqueria has been created right here in Sydney Australia. Developed by Spanish produce importer and proud Catalan, Emile Gomez. He has spent the past decade carefully selecting the finest jamon iberico de bellota, jamon serrano, richly flavoured mojama, brightly hued paprika and precious Pedro Ximenez vinegars for Australian consumers and restaurants. Their core ideals are authenticity and tradition, not only using sustainable, cruelty free animals, but the very best produce.

The Cheese Box

We were hand delivered The Cheese Box containing Manchego Sheep Milk, Roncari Blue, Cabra Pimenton Semi–Firm Goat Milk, Urgelia Cow Milk Wash Rind, Mini Bread Sticks ‘Campesinos’ (these baby breadsticks are just SO yummy and cute!) and Quince Trio (Orange, Walnut & Original).

The blue was a favorite – bold with loads of personality. The semi-firm cabra goats cheese went beautifully with the campesinos and orange quince. We thoroughly enjoyed lazily grazing on the platter with some olives and a glass of woody chardonnay and a bold shiraz.

After our feasting, we couldn’t possibly feta any more in, but we will most definitely be ordering again!
