We were pretty hungry (particularly after the special Cinderella cocktail that can only be described as merriment), so we first has the The Harvest ($18) a vegan breakfast that has a gluten free option containing garden vegetables, whipped ricotta, toasted pistachio and the softest of poached eggs. A comprehensive way to start the day.
The Woodfired Baked Eggs ($22) , reminiscent of a shakshuka roasted peppers, chickpeas, salsa verde and flat bread, is a gentle kick to the morning and hearty enough for the whole day.
The Avocado Toast ($18) is a must for any brunch with the confit of cherry tomato, goats chevre and salted egg yolk. Creamy, salty, yolky. Need we say more? It was a favourite.
Looking across the restaurant others were enjoying the Souffle Pancakes ($23) and while we didn’t try them – the fluffiest pancakes with rhubarb compote, limoncello mascarpone and candied lemon were a clear hit among diners. If you’re a pancake fanatic these look to be the top of the pancake pops.
