The Patysfox Drawing Salon

Illustration allows you to create drawings that are quirky, unique, flawless and truly yours. For many years when Vogue magazine first began, all their covers were created by the leading fashion illustrators of the time. Such a refreshing change from the vacant-eyed models and botoxed celebrities of today.

The art of illustrating is experiencing a renewed love affair with fashion, with many artists and magazines commissioning artists to create unique works to add to their DIY themes.

One such creative is Angie Rehe. She’s worked in the fashion industry for 20 years as a designer and illustrator and is the creative force behind Patsyfox, an illustrated blog, and The Patsyfox Drawing Salons. Her illustration classes are aimed at both beginners and experienced illustrators and encourage you to understand the foundation of fashion illustration and explore new techniques.

To complete the creative experience and make you feel part of the industry, each three hour class is held at fashion designer Nevada Duffy’s studio and retail space in Fitzroy. Class sizes are small and intimate, so you get plenty of one-on-one time to help you grow and develop your illustration style as well as live demonstrations by Angie.

The next course begins in mid October and runs for eight weeks with the cost including all your materials. Just imagine how fantastic your Christmas cards will look this year!
