Mr Whippy is so Last Summer, Hello Pop-Tarts Ice Cream Sandwiches

Pop-Tarts ice cream sandwichHot sand, wild waves, and Greensleeves. That’s what summer is all about.

Not anymore! No more Mr Whippy. Those generic soft serves are so last summer. This year it’s all about the ice cream sandwich. The Pop-Tarts ice cream sandwich that is.

The Pop-Tarts #CrazyGood caravan is roaming the streets this summer, serving up free, yes free, Pop-Tarts ice cream sandwiches. No, the heat hasn’t gone to our heads. It is true!

> Ice Cream Obsessed? We’ve Got the Place For You

To kick off the new year and to showcase their great flavours, Pop-Tarts has partnered up with dessert dude Andy Bowden, aka master of the Hartsyard dessert menu, to create two signature sweets for the streets.

All we need to do is roll on up to the caravan, follow @PopTartsAu on Instagram, post an image with the #CrazyGood hashtag and you’ll be licking the crumbs off your fingers in minutes.

The only hard part is choosing – there’s the Frosted Chocotastic Pop-Tarts ice cream sandwich and the Frosted Strawberry Sensation Flavour Pop-Tarts ice cream sandwich. That’s right, vanilla ice cream sandwiched between chocolate or strawberry Pop-Tarts. Like we said, it’s a tough choice.

Don’t worry, if you miss the caravan, Bowden will be whipping up a few special Pop-Tarts inspired soft serve desserts at Hartsyard too.

Now where to find the caravan? It’ll be out and about in Sydney over the next four weekends at the below events:

Australian Open of Surfing, Manly Beach – Saturday 7 February & Sunday 8 February, 10am – 5pm
