Heels under the hammer

Fashion Auction Day
It started six months ago, as a conversation with a friend and a belief that there’s “no reason why we can’t auction anything”.

And now Lisa Watson, a real estate auctioneer is boasting a healthy 80% clearance rate, having introduced Fashion Auction Day where you can make a bid for designer shoes at a fraction of the retail cost.

From midday on auction day you can try everything on, around 100 lots of higher end labels, winter and summer stock.  The last auction featured Celine, Emilio Pucci, Ferre, and Costume National shoes ‘sold’ between $60 – $160 and enticing ladies to purchase multiple pairs (the record stands at 22 pairs procured by one, now super well-heeled lady).

Make sure you register to bid before each pair is auctioned off by size lots starting at 36 up to 41 (European). True to the auction format, each item must run reserve before the hammer comes down.

The only question now is how much are you willing to part with to get your kitten heels?
