Groom your Man at QT Sydney SpaQ

Gentleman Groom 5So the ladies might have had the upper hand on Valentines Day with chocolates, flowers and romantic dinners, now it’s time to show the gents a little love in return.

QT Sydney has a brand new package designed to pamper your man. That’s right, it’s all about him when you book in for the Gentleman Groom.

Suits, scotch, a spa treatment and a stay. Yep, it’s a little bit of everything. He probably won’t come back looking like Chuck from Gossip Girl but a little bit of TLC can go a long way.

It all starts with a shave and a scotch at The SpaQ Barber Shop. The Barber Shop’s wet shave is legendary and yes, he can have his drink, a Chivas Regal blended Scotch whiskey, in the chair. That’s followed with a 45 minute massage or facial.

Once his skin is silky smooth, get him suited up with a fitting at MJ Bale (and 25% off purchases) before hitting the town.

Two nights in a QT King Deluxe room, with breakfast at Gowings Bar & Grill, he’ll leave feeling like a whole new man. The best part is you get to enjoy it too – the hotel room is for two! Don’t forget to have a nightcap, with a 200ml bottle of 18 year old Chivas Regal thrown in too.

Forrester’s Pub on the corner of Riley Street in Surry Hills has been a much loved watering hole for almost 100 years, it’s seen different owners, changes of prime ministers, generations of friends and family along with periods of being laid ‘fallow’ to rest. It took hospitality favourites, Applejack to rescue this local gem and bring it back to life. A budget of $1.5m doesn’t get you much these days but the renovation its both sensitive to its history and of this era, reflecting a new, more feminine, organic and lighter approach to interior design.
