Discover the undiscovered

It’s tough getting a leg up in the creative industry. Your own exhibition space and slots at fashion shows can be expensive, and there are limited opportunities for the undiscovered to get discovered.

Fashique has changed the status quo. The foot in the door that up and coming creatives need, has already taken the form of four Fashique event heats. Each has been a buffet of art exhibitions, fashion parades and music gigs, attended by art curators, retail buyers as well as avid fans.

Fashique’s best of the best will be held tomorrow night, with the winners being presented by fashion designer Kate Hurst and Kid Kenobi, Australian breakbeat/tech DJ and producer.

Finalists include TK Designs – fresh, extroverted designs ready for the catwalk; Dan Segal and The Pocket – an indie blues ensemble with live percussion; and Lauren Scriberras – live body art installations featuring a modern Indian henna influence.

Conceived and co-organised by two entrepreneurs, event manager Danielle Smith and signed singer-songwriter Amy Brogan, Fashique is supported by Ruby Rabbit, De Nom, Napoleon, and COFA UNSW.

Be amongst the first to buy their talented wares or just enjoy a night out with the cream of the creative crowd.
Fashique, Ruby Rabbit, 231 Oxford Street Darlinghurst, (02) 9332 3197. Wednesday 23 January, $15 tickets at the door, 8pm-late.

Daily Addict has got two Fashique tickets to give away. Simply be the fashionably fifth person to email us at addicted@dailyaddict.com.au, with your name and contact number to win.
