Happy Melon Yoga Gets Mindful in Armadale

 HM YOGA W MAT LR

A new yoga studio has opened on High Street in Armadale and it’s asking us all to take one mindful breath before going any further. Happy Melon is about working on the mind and letting the body follow, rather than the other way around. Their mantra? “Get the mind right, the body will follow”. There’s something so enticing and considered about it, it makes you want to jump right in.

With a team of highly trained, educated, and inspiring teachers, jumping right in is the best way to go about it. Yoga classes, slow and faster styles of vinyasa, yin yoga, and even pre-natal and post natal classes are offered in this beautiful space. They’ve created the perfect place to hone your practice and work on keeping the mind still. If that’s not enough, the meditation space upstairs where you can take 25 or 45 minute meditation classes is bound to help.

 HM MEDITATION LR

As the studio takes a holistic approach to health, they run dynamic fitness and reformer Pilates classes to help build strength within the body as well. But the teachers guide you through class in a mindful way making them more effective for both the body and the mind.

If you want to enhance your wellness journey, they also offer one-on-one sessions in yoga, fitness, counselling, physiotherapy, clinical Pilates, and coaching.

 HM RECEPTION 2 LR

If this isn’t enough to get you to trial the studio for free for a week, the space alone should be. Clean white interior, beautiful artwork hanging from the walls, wooden details, hanging lights, and a courtyard out the back with floor to ceiling windows offering greenery and light.

We’ll see you on the mat.
