it’s a long way to the top if you wanna rock

Convincing the bouncer that you’re with the band can only get you so far. How about… I AM the band, buddy!

Maybe it was on the cards once upon a time but life took over since then and it’s hardly appropriate for you, the with-it professional, to be gallivanting about on stage? Yeah? Well those days are back!

If you’re wise enough to keep your day job, but know one end of a guitar from the other, or can belt out a tune, Weekend Warriors is your next gig. A group of muso’s gather for a meet and greet jam and are then divided into bands, matching standards and style. Four concentrated weeks of rehearsals lead up to the big one – a real gig with paying punters screaming for more.

Your transformation from sleek office manager to seriously rockin’ musician is under the tuition of guitar legend and singer Dai Pritchard. Pick up tips from the man who’s played with the best of Aussie rock, including Jimmy Barnes, Billy Thorpe and Rose Tattoo.

Rock on.
