Horsing around

There was a time when a Pony Club membership was the pinnacle of social success, and having a horse meant a ready supply of piggy-tailed girl friends to talk agistment and grooming with.

Fast-forward 20 years and there is a whole new Pony Club for grown-ups, aka the Riverlands Polo Club.

On Sunday November 7th, Kristy Sullivan (Australia’s best female polo player) will meet Nina Clarkin (the world number one) on the field at the Lady Luck Ladies International Polo Tournament.

Witness the hoof-pounding battle of two International Test Matches from the safety of your picnic rug or upgrade to a marquee for the full ‘Royal’ treatment.

Like what you see? You might like to join the Riverlands Polo social club. For an annual membership ($150 ) the club meets monthly, holds a Gala Awards Dinner, hosts a marquee at Paspaley Polo in the City Sydney events, runs four tournaments through the year, hosts Summer and Winter league polo tournaments and most importantly, for most of us, teach you how to play in Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced Clinics.
