Best Pizzas in Sydney ! The Pizza Bros have moved to the ‘Impy’. Padam padam.

It’s no secret, we are big fans at Daily Addict of the Pizza Bros. So imagine our delight when the boys announced they have relocated to a Sydney icon, The Imperial Hotel, or ‘The Impy’ as locals call it, firing up the gold tiled pizza oven, homage to Kylies’ hot pants, yes, really!

The Impy, part of Universal Hotels Group (UHG) will be revealing a few new vibes over the coming months to delight its patrons, the first is turning up the heat on the mezzanine with the Pizza Bros unique Leopard crust pizzas.

Marty & Joey

The Pizza Bros Joey Pepperoni (Bella Bruta) and Marty McFly (Gigi’s) bros IRL, have worked with the best and bring some serious street cred to the rooftop. A method based on the neo-Neapolitan style, and their own unique dough process has made ‘Leoparding’ famous in the city, attracting a cult following. They are loving themselves working the Naples gangster-esque shiny ‘teardrop’ oven in a playful and inclusive environment.

Luxe pizzas

The sunny art deco styled roof with two bars, lounges and sheltered terrace has plenty of space for groups to gather. On weekends DJs send sultry sounds through the space making it easy to settle in for the arvo and the smell of the pizzas makes it hard to leave.

A cracking pizza dough is only one part of the Bros secret sauce, it’s the variety and uniqueness of the toppings that we also love. The Leopard-like charred spots on the crust gives the finish a smoky flavour dimension. Fortunately for the fan base favourites like the decadent Cacio e Pepe with luxe cheeses, truffle, a drizzle of cream, topped with burrata and the quintessential classic Joni Pepperoni are up for order. We’ve been enamoured with the surf’ n’turf Waterworld, a total flavour bomb with prawns, pancetta with lashings of house made fermented chili sauce but it’s been trumped by, wait for it, the Sassy Sausage. Besides the cute name, this Italian sausage with creamy ricotta and fresh basil will be the No. 1 seller in on the roof, it’s quite possibly the best pizza you’ll ever have.

The Sassy Sausage

Its a match made on the rainbow – fun & fabulous! These are not your conventional Italian pizzas, but neither is the crowd, which is why the Impy featuring the Pizza Bros will be a destination this summer.
