Take a Dip in Adelphi’s Rooftop Pool

Adelphi Pool Party Imagery A

Pool parties remind us of simpler times, being young, not caring about getting burnt, and usually hoping our parents don’t arrive to pick us up any time soon. But Adelphi Hotel is trying to change that image, and we’re ok with that. The Adelphi Hotel, found on Flinders Lane is known for its dessert degustations, having only thirty-four rooms, and having a pillow fragrance menu. Well, that’s what we remembered. But now they’re turning their rooftop pool into the place to party this summer.

Starting on December 7, you’ll be able to head up to the roof on Friday and Sunday afternoons and swim and sip your way to sunset. The bartenders have been working hard to make retro cocktails your parents would have enjoyed back in the 70’s. Highlights include ‘Adelphi Wallbanger’, ‘Nice Melons’, ‘Midori Delusion’, and ‘No Sex on the Pool Deck’.

You’ll also be able to munch on some gourmet sausages that are cooking up on the BBQ, Aussie pool party style. The space can only fit 60 people, so go early and secure yourself a spot. BYO sunscreen. We’re adults now, remember?
