Sephora. European beauty empire. Nirvana for everyone mad about makeup. The pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, the jackpot, the trifecta. All this and more is opening in Westfield Sydney on Friday 5th December. Got that date? Friday 5th December. Write it down in your diary now.
Finally. No longer will we have to leave our suitcases half empty so we can stock up on gloss, foundation, primers, cleansers, eye shadows, anything and everything for your face, on our overseas trips.
Sephora’s first flagship Australian store is going to be big. We’re talking supersized, spread over two floors and 650 square metres.
You’ll find all those international brands it’s so hard to get your hands on (think Marc Jacobs, Estelle & Thild, Aspar and Givenchy) and Sephora’s very own signature collection. We love their lipgloss and we love the price tag. This is affordable and awesome stuff people.
Heading into the store on opening day is not for the faint of heart. Expect lines. But it’s not all bad, you can also expect to be looked after while you wait. Giveaways, music and more.
Our tip is to do a recce the weekend before, when Sephora Survival Packs are up for grabs out front – a little taster of what’s to come – on Friday 28th, Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th November.
Keep an eye out for the Sephora Sleepover competition running while the big countdown clock ticks over before the big reveal – overnight pampering and first in store on opening day sounds like the win of the century to us.
