I only wear the latest thing, it’s my job

If the statement “I only wear the latest thing, it’s my job” resonates, or you simply have an attraction to all things from the covetable House of Karl Lagerfeld, you’re in for a treat.

Tomorrow sees the global launch of KARL, the new modern and accessible line (think effortless cool) designed by Monsieur Lagerfeld, exclusively on Net-A-Porter for four weeks.

Expect 70 different pieces in typical Karl black and white colour palette – dotted with a pop of pink or purple – including dresses, classic pants, sweatshirts, skirts, shirts, T-Shirts, shoes and bags.

You’ll want to get clicking first for the KARL leather biker jacket, rock ‘n’ roll pleated leather skirt, or smart tuxedo jacket in matte sequins. We’re smitten with KARL’s merlot coloured draped jersey dress for summer and pair of jeans covered with check-silhouettes of Lagerfeld’s head.

Be one of the first fifty people to visit the Net-A-Porter Window Shop at Bondi Beach in Sydney tomorrow for a set of KARL leather gloves or one of his signature detachable collars to add to your wardrobe.

Limited edition T-shirts and gift bags are also being given away when you use your iPhone or IPAD2 to scan over the edit of KARL pieces displayed on vinyl graphics.

Time to get Karlified.

KARL exclusively unveiled on Net-A-Porter 26 January 2012
