Art Meets Luxury Hotel at The Larwill Studio

What do you get when you combine an art gallery, a wellness retreat, and all the fancy amenities of an upscale hotel?

You get the brightest addition to the buzzy Art Series Hotel family, and a reason to go to Parkville immediately. (Hello, race season.)

If you’re familiar with Art Series, the basis remains the same. Diffuse the guts of a sophisticated pad with amazing Australian art and stock it with a grown-up’s Disneyland of activities and amenities. The minibar alone is a shining beacon of nourishing joy.

Parkville’s The Larwill Studio is a five-star salute to the trippy world of Roar pioneer David Larwill. Think welcoming spaces, a palette of burnt oranges and calming teals, and a dash of the artist’s larrikin spirit reflected in quirky details. You’ll find actual, good art – fantastic Larwill giclée prints – in your own room, and sketchpads provided for sudden bursts of inspiration. Those views across Royal Parklands aren’t bad either.

But the Larwill’s MO isn’t just looking pretty. Pimped out for contemplation, creation, and positive thinking, there are also daily running groups, a gym, and library. There’s even a yoga channel in your room for cases of not wanting to leave ever.

One warning: You’ll never stay in a hotel this good again.
