Endless love and endless deliciousness at Foreign Return

Firstly as a reminder, Foreign Return is an upscaled Indian restaurant in Surry Hills that is fun, friendly and holy authentic. It’s on our must visit list and it’s also on a must go-back many times list because we love it so much!

Valentine’s Day
This Valentine’s Day celebrate your love at Foreign Return and enjoy “Love at Meena Bazaar” a specially designed feast for two. This is an opulent, Mughal-inspired menu told as a love story between Shah Jahan (the creator of the Taj Mahal) and his wife Mumtaz Mahal. Legend has it that young prince Khurram (who later became Shah Jahan) charmed his future wife at the royal Meena Bazaar. Shah Jahan is known for creating the most-well known testament to love in the world, The Taj Mahal, for his wife after her untimely demise.

Join the team and enjoy an evening of inspired dishes and flavours, beauty and history.

$129 per person includes a shared menu + arrival drink.

Murghal inspired romance

Brunch
Now we’re back into full social swing after all that family time – get the band back together and enjoy a one of a kind Indian brunch.

They’ve taken your favourite brunch offerings and given them a special twist. Goat mince sliders, Parsi-inspired Akuri bruschetta, spiced potato tikki burgers from Delhi and more! Plus two hours of bottomless drinks including a Grey Goose tea spiked spritz, bubbles and beers galore.

$79 per person includes a shared menu + arrival cocktail. or add 2 hours of bottomless Grey Goose Spiked Tea Spritz for an additional $20pp.

Catch up with the gang over brunch

Pre-theatre dining
Not sure about you, but eating before the theatre is always so stressful. You want something good, but fast and some spots don’t quite get the need for speed! Now you can enjoy a curated pre-theatre meal at Foreign Return before going to see your favourite show in Surry Hills (perhaps as the Belvoir theatre). Available everyday between 5.30-6.30 you can choose one entrée, choice of one main plus basmati and pulau, naan and your choice of house white, red, rose or beer.

Plus you can pop by after the show for your favourite cocktail or two and make a night of it.
