Brand Smart makes Fashion Sense

Brand SmartMove over DFO, Brand Smart is back in business. Sensible spending and serious style is the name of the game at the revitalised Nunawading outlet centre. New stock, new stores, new discounts.

Yes, it’s out in the ‘burbs, but you’re willing to sacrifice for style. It’s really only a half hour drive on the motorway and parking is free and plentiful.

More to the point, you’re more than willing to commute to somewhere with Sass and Bide, Oroton, Charlie Brown, Decjuba and JAG outlets all under one roof.

Most of the stock at Brand Smart is four to eight weeks behind what you’ll see in the retail stores. It’s not worn or torn.

At Sass and Bide, there’s racks of last year’s Winter and Spring Summer lines on sale. Black and gold chiffon dresses, bold black and white high waisted trousers, stunning sequined cocktail dresses, kaftans and even accessories. All of Oroton’s bags are under $195, they’ve got umbrellas and scarves too.

Stores like Globalize stock one off pieces – Evil Twin dresses for $50 and discounted Mink Pink jackets. The big brand names like JAG, Decjuba and Charlie Brown have up to an additional 50% off sale items.

Once you’ve exhausted clothes, there’s Sheridan for those of us who love high thread counts, Villeroy and Boch is for last minute wedding gifts and Australia’s only discount Priceline store had an extra one-day only 40% off all cosmetics when we popped into Brand Smart.

High fashion doesn’t have to mean sky-high price tags. Expect even bigger savings in May during the Four Day Celebration, 2nd – 5th May. It’ll make the Boxing Day sales look small fry.
