Bondi Gets Cooler with Gelato Messina

Hoards of people spilling onto Bondi’s Hall Street clutching multi-coloured plastic spoons can only mean one thing, right? Gelato Messina has landed!

Sydney’s beloved gelato gods have made their way east – in what seems like a perfect synergy of sun, sand, and cold scoops of deliciousness – and set up stumps in the new and shiny Adina Hotel complex.

Gelato Messina fans can bet on all the usual suspects, with more than 40 flavours to choose from and daily concoctions to get your tastebuds back flipping.  But the fit-out is a little different; think an upside down swimming pool with pebblecrete on the walls and ceilings.

Foodies will be smitten – expect more Sydney stalwarts including Darlinghurst’s A Tavola and Haberfield’s Pasticceria Papa to pop up within a stone’s throw. And for all the Melbourne-ites among us, you’ll be happy to know St Ali is making an appearance too.

Will Bondi get a little bit cooler this summer!? We think so.
