If your idea of a perfect weekend involves the scent of petrol in the morning and champagne by sunset, clear your calendar. From 20–22 February 2026, the Ayrburn Classic rolls back into Arrowtown, New Zealand.
After a debut year that had grown adults openly emotional over roaring, purring engines, the 2026 edition is sure to level up. With more than 500 vehicles spanning every era of motoring excellence, including over 60 Ferraris and 30 Mustangs, alongside polished exhibitor displays from some of New Zealand’s most prestigious automotive and luxury brands.
Friday: The Tour d’Elegance
It’s an excuse to get across the pond to our favourite food and wine haven as the weekend opens with the inaugural Tour d’Elegance, presented by Bayleys – a charity parade that trades red carpets for winding alpine roads.
A curated collection of classic, collector and supercars will glide from Ayrburn through Arrowtown’s most iconic streets, climb skyward toward Coronet Peak, then descend in effortless formation back to the estate. Guests can bid for the amazing ride-along experiences, joining renowned drivers including racing legend Greg Murphy and social media car personality Taylor Serage. All proceeds go to local charities.

Saturday: When the Hammer Drops
Saturday shifts from cruising to competition. In partnership with Sunday Drive, the Ayrburn Classic hosts a live car auction on The Dell, with more than 40 vehicles going under the hammer. Leading the charge is award-winning auctioneer Robert Tulp, who knows exactly how to turn anticipation into theatre. Whether you’re bidding on your next obsession or just there for the adrenaline of a live sale, it’ll be impossible not to get swept up in the drama.
Sunday: Style Meets Speed
Ladies’ Day and Fashions on the Field, presented by Giltrap Group, brings fashion into the fast lane. Categories for best dressed female, male, couple and child celebrate personal style with as much attention to detail as the cars themselves. Because let’s be honest – if you’re going to stand next to a Ferrari, you need to be dressed for it; and why not win a prize!
If you’re in New Zealand or popping over next weekend, be sure to get your motor running and check it out!
