Across Sydney bars and restaurants are packed out, the crowds have returned and communities far-and-wide are putting their best food forward and celebrating the hard work of those in their locale. The inner-city and harbourside suburb of Pyrmont is no exception, and this year are celebrating a decade of the Pyrmont Festival.
Leading the charge for the 21-day festival is the return of the two-day highlight event in Pirrama Park on 28 and 29 May. The festival is community-run and celebrates the strong connection between the country and the City.
Sitting by the world’s most famous harbour you could be sipping award-winning wines from winemakers including Slow Wine Co, Tamburlaine Organic Wines, Gilbert Family Wines and Wine Selectors to name a few. If wine isn’t your choice of tipple you’re also covered with incredible brews and hand-crafted cocktails.

The festival also has the perfect pairing to the drink in your hand with some of the freshest oysters money can buy, incredible artican cheeses, and food trucks featuring snacks from around country (and the world). If haven’t had the chance to leave our borders in the last couple of years, you can certainly let your tastebuds do the travelling.
It’s not just delicious food and wine, there’s live entertainment, art classes and even food and wine courses available to attendees. Little family members are also welcome with ‘The Kids Zone’ to showcase a jumping castle, games, face painting and fairy floss.
