Denim and Supply Drops in Melbourne

Distressed. Weathered. Worn. Washed out. Perhaps not words you’d want associated with every aspect of your appearance, but when it comes to your denim a bit of wear and tear really does add character.

Waving the flag for an older generation of jeans is Ralph Lauren’s softly sophisticated diffusion line Denim & Supply, which has now settled in on Bourke Street with dedicated menswear and womenswear sites.

Underpinning Denim & Supply is a more youthful philosophy, earthy and unpretentious, priding itself on eclectic individualism rather than tired trends.

The line finds inspiration in the weathered character of genuine vintage so think flatteringly faded hues, nautical-inspired silhouettes and Ralph Lauren’s classic all-American sensibilities. Muted ivory and navy mingles with washed indigo and gingham, while maritime details call for getting your feet dirty in between sipping cocktails deck-side.

And at these prices it doesn’t matter if you get your jeans a little roughed up in the process.
