If you fancy some mystery, live entertainment and a truly unique cinema experience, than you better bookmark Underground Cinema quick smart.
This is one cinema experience that offers an entirely immersive atmosphere often with sets, actors and live music. Mystery is the key ingredient, so much so you actually hand over your $30 for a mystery film and then only find out the location of the event a couple of days before the screening. Sure, you’ll get hints along the way, but it’s all about the mystery!
If you’re worried about the quality of these “mystery” events, fear not. Previous examples have exceeded expectations; Sleepy Hollow screened at St Marks Church in Fitzroy for Halloween with a live re-enactment from one of the more blood curdling screens from the film and Generation Yamakasi, the French doco about Parkour screened at 1000 pound bend with a live Parkour demonstration.
The next event screens this Sunday with a premiere international comedy film and promises to be another stand out event. Often these (generally monthly) events sell out beforehand *hint* sign up to receive details of the next one.
