Tiger Peacock

Design and Interior stores are a dime a dozen, so what makes the good one’s stand out, you ask? How about amazing visual merchandising (that you wish you could replicate in your own home) or a chat with a passionate sales person who really knows their products. Perhaps it’s the mix of product that you later discover is made by craftsmen from exotic lands with superior workmanship, skill and texture.

Tiger Peacock has been a labour of love for creative installation artist Aimee McCallum and her partner Mark. Aimee has spent many years creating stunning window and in store displays for Husk, Metalicus and Just Jeans to name a few, and the launch of Tiger Peacock is a way of sharing their love of original, cultural, antique and recycled interiors from exotic regions whilst supporting under privileged families to be able to continue making a living from their cultural handicrafts.

Choose from the Parisinne, Diamantina and Emporium ranges featuring gold candle votives and bowls, Indian print frames and magnets, antique bird lanterns and silver banana leaf trays. Just be prepared to be surprised each time you visit the store as the windows and the store layout will have completely changed; we guess that’s what happens when one of the creators is a visual merchandiser by trade.
