Pyrmudgee

Christmas isn’t the only 12-day festival.  Pyrmont Festival of Food, Wine and Art is a serious contender for the ultimate celebration of life. Featuring wine, art and food; it’s not so much Pyrmont and Mudgee as Ancient Greece or Rome.

Check out the SMH Grower’s Markets, enjoy special festival menus at local restaurants Blue Eye Dragon, Signorelli Gastronomia, Sugaroom, Viva Goa and Flying Fish and head down to Pirrama Park in Pyrmont to (quite literally) get a taste of life in Mudgee. Try 120 wines from 30 of Mudgee’s top winemakers.

If your eyes are bigger than your belly, the Pyrmont Art Prize will attract you with its pretty petals. A $10,000 prize is up for grabs with the only restriction being that the artwork is small or 31cm x 31cm, to be precise.
