Polished and pressed

Every modern goddess should have a staple of classic slips and dreamy dresses; a for-all-seasons collection Mrs Press would approve of.

The label, designed by Australian Vogue’s former features director Clare Press, is known for polished pieces made of all natural fabrics including 100% silk jersey, sand-washed silk satin and crepe de chine. Mrs Press’ exclusive prints, all produced in Australia, are the work of her textiles designer friend Bethany Linz.

To celebrate the opening of her new Darlinghurst Dressing Room, Clare’s enlisted a helping hand from visual artist Kevina-Jo Smith.  As of tomorrow, you can admire a window display that beholds a flora and fauna fantasy home grown just for the occasion. Working with exclusive Mrs. Press fabrics, velvet, felt and lace, Kevina has painstakingly knitted, woven, braided, knotted and hand-sewn.

The botanical-inspired world lasts just for just two weeks. You’ll be hard pressed to find a prettier store window.
