No Risk Too Great

Next Wave Festival
A festival that “offers a chance to leap into the unknown and for everyone to expose themselves to strange and wonderful experiences” – where do you sign up?

Next Wave’s Artistic Director, Jeff Khan can show you.  For this year’s “No Risk Too Great!” themed festival he’s brought together 300 young artists from all over Asia-Pac to interpret what does ‘risk’ mean and what is its role in our risk-averse culture.

Discover 53 risk permutations in the form of Next Wave projects. You can spend a day at the MCG fusing art and sport, or have an intimate encounter in a private room with a new generation dancers (in between your banquet of course).

Cosy up under the stars for an all night video art marathon at Federation Square, or sleepover with Kris Keogh; playing one long lullaby (10 hours) to entice your REM during the Territory Time Sleepover.

Step outside the comfort zone. No risk, no reward.
