What everyone is talking about:
The runway show’s atmosphere was planned to perfection with music with just the right tempo and dimmed lighting. The mood was sultry; complimenting the collection impeccably.
The Collection:
SS14/15 collection explores space of dreams where reality is contorted and a sense of disquiet is recognised. Designer, Bianca Spender knows what women want and what women need in their closet.
Structured and tailored pieces take full focus in the collection with unexpected details that inject a sophisticated sexiness into each piece. Subtle cut out details, midriffs and high slits are playful yet poised. These are the pieces we’ll be wearing to art gallery showings and after work cocktails.
The Look:
Bianca Spender has stepped in the direction of a number of other designers this season with the next to no makeup look by M.A.C Cosmetics. Skin is bare, flawless and fresh with glossy eyes and cheeks while the hair is slicked back with a double twisted plait down the back of the head, complete with a centre part.
What we’re addicted to:
The midriff top and high waisted skirt combo. The collection strategically demonstrates how to show just the right amount of skin while remaining sophisticated – Bianca Spender shows us how it’s done.
