Ketel One House

Ketel One House is a venue entirely created using bespoke pieces. Where, for one night only, its guests will have an opportunity to sample exceptionally created cocktails by some of Melbourne’s leading mixologists whilst surrounded by Melbourne craftsmanship.

As you sip on your Ketel One Vodka Martini, Ketel on Tea Time (Ketel One Vodka and green tea syrup served short over ice) or Ketel One Garden (Ketel One Vodka, elderflower cordial, muddled cucumber and cloudy apple juice served tall over ice with tonic water), take a closer look at the artworks and installations led by Lou Weis, creative director of the State of Design Festival.

Melbourne artist and illustrator Tim McMonagle’s has fashioned a Family Wall of jackets representing generations of the Nolet Family. It’s an expansive wall; since 1691 ten generations of the Nolet Family have been distilling fine spirits in Scheidam, Holland.

The space features lighting by Ben Cobham, founder of Bluebottle and the talent behind some of Melbourne’s most innovative lighting installations, and an iconic K recreated by visual artist, DJ and facade designer Geoffrey Nees with graphic designer Kano Hollamby.

It’s a pop-up concept that will disappear soon, but for now, Ketel One is in the House.
