Keel over for Gastro parK

Despite having perhaps the most ill (geddit?) chosen name for a restaurant yet, the newest restaurant on the Kings Cross dining scene, Gastro parK , is happily causing more of a buzz than a groan amongst keen diners around town.

Focused on the playful, creative and innovative, ex-Pier head chef Grant King has created a space that showcases his deft hand, a sense of humour and a whole lot of attitude.

Smack bang in the night owl district, while the punters are queuing up to get into the clubs, sit back and enjoy classy late night drinks and tricked up bar snacks, courtesy of the 3am license.

Start with baked grissini, wrapped in cured Wagyu shortrib, crisp’n’airy potato churros and more…the upside is that the menu of hits is constantly on the move, according to what produce is good on the day, and the new ideas coming out of the kitchen.

It’s not all about cocktails and small eats though. Those up for consuming seriously skilled food best make a night of it, in order to fully appreciate King’s calibre. So, who’s game?
