Indian High Tea at Akis

If you enjoy the ritual of drinking tea and are looking for a new way to celebrate with your other half, folks or friends , drop in on Sundays at Aki’s for their new Indian High Tea.

Chef Kumar Mahadevan has designed a subtly flavoured contemporary Indian menu fit for any aspiring Maharajah or Maharani.
Sit back on plush seats scattered with colourful cushions, get a good dose of Wharf-style people watching in between sips of your Indian Masala Tea or Chilli Chai (milky tea with flavours from cardamom pods, ginger, cinnamon, vanilla and chili flakes).

Expect an assortment of delicately spiced treats such as Dahi Vada – lentil dumplings stuffed with sultanas, cumin and topped with yoghurt, and the Prawn Pani Poori – cocktail prawns served in crispy round pockets with a refreshing green chutney of mint and coriander. Swap traditional scones with jam and clotted cream for creamy saffron laced Caramelised infused Basmati rice custard.

Regal savouries, sweets and drinks; a new high for High Tea.
