High Tea with His Lordship

Fancy morning tea with a Lord? Delicate morsels plated on fine Wedgwood china served in the elegant surrounds of The Langham hotel. Doesn’t sound too bad at all, does it?

Ladies, get busy channeling your inner June Dally-Watkins. Don your best frock and take a seat beside Lord Wedgwood – a direct descendent of the one-and-only Wedgwood founder and ‘father of English pottery’ at this one-off High Tea event.

Sip tea (don’t slurp) from the finest bone china and indulge in The Langham’s signature Tiffin Tea. Politely place delicate morsels like smoked salmon and cucumber sandwiches and quiche Lorraine on new season Wedgwood & Bentley plates – remember a lady never scoffs. Leave room for mini crème brulèe, cheesecake, macaroons, scones and fresh pastries. All while sipping artisan loose leaf tea from the prettiest Wedgwood teacups – perhaps Cylon Orange Pekoe tickles your fancy?

Would it be rude to say no to a glass of Laurent Perrier Champagne? Or complimentary Wedgwood gift bag on the way out? Probably best to accept, graciously.
