Hallelujah

Leonard Cohen at A Day on the Green

You mightn’t even know that you know musician Leonard Cohen, but you do.

He’s been putting out albums since before Jeff Buckley was even a twinkle in his daddy’s eye. ‘Twas Jeff whose heart-wrenching cover ofHallelujah brought Leonard’s work to a wider audience and made us remember how retro-cool his other songs are, like “Everybody Knows” and “First We Take Manhattan”.

It’s been 24 years since Leonard Cohen last visited Australia and 15 since he’s performed concerts anywhere in the world. But being 74 years old is not holding him back. This concert promises to be a corker in more ways than one. He’s coming with a full band, plus both concerts are in the grounds of two of Australia’s finest vineyards. Bring your picnic blanket and wear your heart on your sleeve.

Leonard Cohen. Living. Legend.
