escape to the pinnacle

Tuesdays aren’t your favourite day…tucked in between Monday and nowhere-near-the-weekend, no wonder you feel like escaping. Step out for some fresh mountain air (well, at least a good view of it) at the BANFF Mountain Film Festival World Tour.

This film competition scours the globe to uncover the finest footage on mountain subjects.

You can follow the sport of new-school skiing and some of the world’s best snowkiting riders in search for the purest snow and wind conditions. See ‘Best Film on Mountain Sports’ 20 Seconds of Joy (Germany) which follows Norwegian BASE jumper Karina Hollekim through her high-risk career, including a sudden life-changing stop.

A sure-fire and speedy way to get lost in the mountains without leaving the city.

BANFF Mountain Film Festival
