Sydney dining concept, stakes its claim on Melbourne
What do you get when you mix emerging chefs, sommeliers, front of house teams from a raft of top restaurants and a food event concept that pushes the culinary boundaries? [TOYS] collective – Taste of Young Sydney.

The relatively new Sydney concept is migrating to Melbourne on 7 December, and promises to be a feast of gastronomic proportions.

[TOYS] plucks an eclectic group of foodies, virtually on the cusp of brilliance and challenges them with a theme, this one is ‘Water’ to test what the next generation can produce when given a blank recipe.

With previous events across the border seeing ‘Phat’ and ‘Skin & Bones’ dinners and a cocktail ‘bubbles’ soirée brought to life, the Melbourne debut is vying well for your favour.

Where else would you be able to dine with a kitchen line-up comprising of Nic Poelaert (Embrasse), John Paul Twomey (Cutler & Co), Daniel Wilson (Huxtable) and Aaron Turner (Loam)? Along with Morgan McGlone (Flinders Inn) and Darren Robertson (The Table Sessions)?

Issue #4 will also showcase the talents of Sonia Bandera (Donovan’s), Hannah Green (Attica), Kirsikka Herrald (Embrasse), Liam O’Brien (winemaker) and Dante Ruaine (Huxtable), plus Sydneysiders; Kylie Javier (Duke Bistro), Luke Ashton (Duke Bistro, The Ivy) and Banjo Harris-Plane (Est.).

Ok, enough with the shameless name-dropping, just book your tickets quickly, this is one foodie fiesta you don’t want to miss.

[TOYS] Collective: Issue #4
