It’s official. There’s only a few more weeks until Christmas. Maybe you’ve spent the past few weeks buying bow-themed home decor, and have just realised your house looks fabulous but you have NO PRESENTS for anyone. Or maybe that’s just us! Never fear, the Daily Addict team have been hard at work (the ones not shopping for bows) testing out the goods that will put you in the good books with your nearest and dearest this festive season. Dreame Hair Miracle Hair Dryer

I’ve been loyal to my GHD for years, but the Dreame Hair Miracle has completely changed the game. I’m not just impressed, I’m throwing (regifting) out my old dryer. It arrives in a stunning leather suitcase that looks more like luxury luggage than packaging. Inside, is the dryer along with five different attachments: diffuser nozzle, styling nozzle, smoothing nozzle (amazing!), anti-frizz nozzle (also amazing), and an essence nozzle with cartridge. With a brushless motor spinning at 130,000 rpm and an airflow speed of 70 m/s, the Dreame dries my naturally curly, shoulder-length hair in just under three minutes. Compare that to the Dyson Supersonic’s 110,000 rpm or traditional dryers that top out around 20,000 rpm, and it is a step up. It uses 00 million negative ions per cubic centimetre to neutralise static and seal hair cuticles, which leaves my hair noticeably smoother and shinier. The four temperature modes and two speed settings give me flexibility, the LCD display makes it easy to see exactly what setting I’m using. At 57dB, it’s remarkably quiet, noticeably quieter than my old GHD and on par with a Dyson whch I have previously reviewed. famously hushed operation. I’ve put this through its paces on different hair types during styling sessions, and it performs beautifully across the board. The diffuser is gentle enough for my curls without creating frizz, while the smoothing nozzle concentrates airflow I also like the Dreame’s ergonomic design wheich is more comfortable to hold. Twelve South Hi Rise 2 Deluxe – Well charged and well-looked after

We’ve all got someone in our life who lives on the edge. Of battery life that is. The Twelve South HiRise 2 Deluxe is the polite way of ensuring they’ll no longer skirt the dreaded red battery symbol ever again. Why? Because it’s dead easy. No cords, no connection points, just two charging pads on a slimline stand. One charging pad is magnetic, and up to 15W, which we found extremely handy to double as a stand for FaceTime with the family (or even Zoom calls if you’re in a pinch). These are water proof headphones for the swimmer, runner, or fitness fanatic who refuses to choose between their workout and their playlist. I have been using them for a number of different work outs and they are amazing. The Suunto Aqua uses bone conduction technology, resting on my cheekbones and transmitting sound through vibrations not through my ear but my bones! My ears stay completely open, which means I can hear what’s happening around me, this is awesome when walking my dogs so I can anticipate issues, its been a gamechanger. At just 35 grams, they’re so light I forget I’m wearing them. With an IP68 rating tested to 5 meters depth, these are proper swimming headphones.The real game-changer? 32GB of built-in storage holding up to 8,000 songs. I leave my phone at home and hit the road, I don’t need to wear my best Peloton leggins pockets for my phone – I have my entire playlist while I run.
