Keystone Hooks Up With World Class Cocktail

World Class 2012 Winner Tim PhillipsThey’re the unsung heroes of the imbibing scene. The key cog in your post-work wind down machine.

Well, until they take out the World Class title and take their pour game global. But before the big showdown Sydney’s 25 top bartenders are teaming up with Keystone to mix you up some strong ones.

This week is all about letting your taste buds lead you. If they skew savory with a good kick and a vitamin D garnish, Rushcutters’ Ketel One Bloody Mary Garden is your pick ‘n’ mix sweet shop — complete with produce from the Cooks Co-Op in the Hawkesbury Region.

For carnivorous appetites, Newtown Hotel’s The Animal will take on a ‘Meat meets Whisky’ theme. If meat-inspired cocktails (think Gumbo Old-Fashioned) aren’t quite your cup of tea, they’re also serving a $10 bone marrow toastie.

Finally, The Rook on York Street will be pirating the talent of Melbourne’s Black Pearl. These guys really know their way around a vessel.

So don’t be ashamed to know your bartenders by name.
