Taste of Sydney 2012

If chefs are the new celebrities, you’d be hard pressed to find a more star-studded event than this year’s Taste of Sydney.

Sydney’s favourite pop-up food festival will see Centennial Park transformed into a foodie’s Walk of Fame, tempting you with sample-sized versions of our best restaurants’ best dishes.

Stroll, shop and sip on the offerings of award-winning wineries, designing your dream degustation menu from the likes of Somer Sivrioglu’s Efendy, Manu Feildel’s L’etoile, Martin Boetz’s Longrain and Peter Kuruvita’s Flying Fish.

Local legend Justin North is just one of these 14 culinary maestros serving up their signature dishes alfresco, putting a unique spin on mobile versions of Quarter Twenty One and Charlie & Co. Learn how to whip up artisan breads and lip-smacking sauces at Quarter Twenty One Cooking School, or chow down on jazzed-up ‘dude food’ at the old-school diner edition of North’s gourmet burger joint.

Good things come on small plates. Lots of them.
