misschu Goes Underground

Can you hear that? It’s the sound of stilettos chattering up George Street en route to find Miss Chu’s new underground outpost.

City workers all over Sydney are doing the happy dance as they say goodbye to food court style rice paper rolls and hello to misschu’s fresh tiger prawn, duck, chicken and tuna rolls.

Tucked away in a CBD basement in Regent Place (you’ll remember the obscure location from your trip to Assembly Bar) follow the smell of caramelized pork belly and Wagyu beef Phở until you find the hallmark tuck shop complete with hanging lanterns and trendy wall art. Not to mention a handful of bikes ready for speedy office delivery.

All the crowd favourites make an appearance – sashimi tuna rice paper rolls, Peking duck pancake, BBQ pork bun, steamed dumplings and vermicelli noodle boxes – plus daily specials and a punchy bevvy list.

Fourth off the block (following Darlingurst, Bondi, Opera Kitchen), there’s plenty to like about misschu underground with hanging iPhone and laptop chargers to refuel your gadgets and a heap of seating to rest the weary feet (no awkward milk crate negotiations required).
