If your taste is more Birdcage than trackside, one hatted restaurant Saké will fit the bill nicely. Sophisticated punters will still be able to catch the race winner on screens throughout the restaurant and will have access to the ArgyleXchange shared TAB betting & payout facilities.

5. Prime Grill Room, GPO Sydney

Go for the best steak in Sydney, a gorgeous Escada showcase of fashion and style, prize giveaways and sweeps. TAB facilities are available on Martin Place and you can watch all the action from the Melbourne Races televised on the big screen and 14 plasma TVs located throughout the venue.

6. Nomad
