Your picnic game is pretty ace. You’ve baked, bought, BYOd and ordered bespoke.

But – no offense to your savory muffin recipe – Lost is some next-level alfresco snacking. 

Granted, these guys have one ingredient you won’t find in the Picnic & Party aisle at Coles: A killer lineup of local musicians. Platinum-selling Aussie sweetheart Megan Washington will perform alongside The Rubens, Queensland’s Emma Louise, with indie/folk newbie Dustin Tebbuttm and the similarly-genred Sons of East.

The food itself? Well that’s no cold egg sandwich. Behind the picnic baskets are Martin Boetz and The Keystone Group, cooking up Northern European inspired fare with Hawkesbury-sourced produce. Add to the menu Paul Wilson and Icebergs’ Maurice Terzini, rustling up what’s best described as ‘Italian Soul food’ (it doesn’t pay to be too patriotic).

Segue into a mid afternoon buzz with the help of The Garden Bar by The Corner House, and don’t forget that picnic blankets also double as dance mats.

Here’s to your restored faith in music festivals.
