fight club now taking members

There aren’t a whole lot of gym work outs to get you too excited. But Total Body Conditioning, newly located in Moore Park has found a way to view your fitness regime in a different light.

This boutique fitness club, with a capped membership of 2000, is designed and purpose-built. It has spared little expense to attract a discerning clientele with its fitness studio, cardio theatre, state of the art resistance equipment, two-lane indoor running track and climbing zone for rope or rock climbing.

Group fitness regimes such as spin, bodypump, bootcamp and Pilates are offered Monday-Saturday to challenge, burn calories and get the heart rate going. It also boasts the only fully-equipped Everlast set-up in Australia including a full-size, custom-made professional boxing ring, imported from the US. A few rounds of ‘fitbox’ or the ‘freestyle mixed martial arts’ class will dissipate your working day’s angst in no time.

And if music is your motivator, DJ Yoshi tunes will inspire those extra reps. You’ll find this DJ with a cult-like following playing live between 6-9pm on Monday and Tuesday nights within a custom-built DJ box.

You can expect private dressing rooms, free lockers, free parking. There’s also a post-workout area in the form of an intimate retro-style members’ lounge, where you can relax or catch up on some reading. Members can take in an impressive range of Olympic and sporting memorabilia or use the library with its extensive collection on sports, nutrition and sport psychology.

The rules say there is no Fight Club, but here’s a club you can fight about.
