Cafe del Mar Sydney

DJs and drinks on the beach, parties all day and night – Europeans know how to party. And now, in Sydney, we’re in for a little slice of the action.

Cafe del Mar Sydney is here, and with it comes an effortless glamour-meets-sun deck attitude.

Named after Ibiza’s infamous party hotspot, the newest watering hole in town takes over a Cockle Bay Wharf rooftop terrace (where Coast used to be).

Cafe del Mar was never going to get around our strict OHS rules, so drinking stays on the premise, not down in the water or out on the street like some of Europe’s best bars. You won’t be too concerned about that as Sibella Court and Kelly Ross have created a glamour beach chic interior and the atmosphere is predictably party, party, party.

Get cosy in cabanas, hit the dance floor or look out over Cockle Bay Wharf with a cocktail or sangria devised by bar manager Geraint Coles. Save room for some food – a slice of the Mediterranean from Head chef Ben Fitton, whilst the iconic tunes synonymous with Café del Mar transition from lounge vibe to sexy deep house as the hours get late.

See you where the sun always sets.
