Pressed Juices Gets Hungry

Pressed Juices has become rather popular both on the streets of Australia and on Instagram. The national cold pressed juice company has been growing faster than you can say Green Number 1 please, and we can’t really argue. With nine categories of drinks from Greens, to Tonics, to Almond Mylks, they have something for everyone. But, now they’ve decided to take that one step further with their new Raw Food range, making healthy eating as easy as healthy drinking.

The small range – we’re hoping for more on the horizon, has been created by a team of in-house nutritionists. The dishes are based on being nutrient dense and being made from local ingredients. They’re the perfect pairing to the already bursting range of cold-pressed juices.

So what’s on the menu? Breakfast time is sweet with a CoYo coconut yoghurt collaboration. The Coconut Parfait is layers of the CoYo coconut yogurt, raspberries, passionfruit, blueberries, pistachios, pecans, and activated buckinis. The tart combination offers beautiful crunch and a nice addition to your morning juice.

Lunch time is a little more savoury with two raw zucchini pastas being dished up. The first is a Raw Basil Pesto Zucchini Pasta, which sees generous amounts of walnuts, rocket, lemon juice, cold pressed olive oil, basil leaves, and Brazil nuts mixed through large spirals of zucchini. The second zucchini creation the Raw Asian Zucchini Pasta sees lime juice, ginger, coconut aminos, coriander, red capsicum, green chilli, mint, nigella seeds, and sesame seeds dress the pasta.

All of the foods on offer have been created with their nutritional benefits in mind. With everything being high fibre, these take-away options will keep you full and nourished for the day.

If you like things to look as good as they taste you’re in luck. The entire food range comes in adorable glass jars which will look stunning on your kitchen bench, long after you’ve finished the dish inside.
