The ChefPrep Pantry is keeping us dry, fed and very, very happy

Feeling sorry for yourself while the sky has decided to unleash a year’s supply of rain in one week? We are. Well, ok, we were, until we were suddenly snuggling in bed with bowls of Bourke Street Bakery muesli. We were toasty, the muesli was toasted, and nobody had to go out in the rain to get to that winning combo.

ChefPrep has been delivering frozen ready-made meals from some of our favourite Sydney restaurants for a while now and they couldn’t have chosen a better time to widen their remit to pantry items. Along with Bourke Street Bakery, Old Bones Chilli Co and OGS Sauce were on board as the first pantry items, but already there are more gourmet goodies from the likes of House of Goodness (gluten-free dumplings, hello), Just Jerky and Bippi chilli condiments on the virtual shelves.

It’s a dangerously simple process to load up your cart with items like the aforementioned muesli, then throw in a jar of Bourke Street Bakery’s own raw honey, and then, while you’re there, you can even dip into the ready-meals section. Hello, lamb and harissa sausage rolls. Never wait in line for Bourke Street Bakery sausage rolls again! You can store the ready-meals for up to three months in the freezer so stock up now for your next round of self iso or La Niña’s next deluge.

Alongside the pantry are signature dishes from Sydney’s favourite eateries – Delhi ‘O’ Delhi’s famous butter chicken, Bondi Hardware’s prawn linguine, even Butter’s fried chicken noodle soup are a few items on the menu that make an appearance.

Whether it’s the weather, quarantine, or even just your schedule, don’t let anything get in the way of a good deal or a well-stocked pantry again.
